Claiming Georgia Cash Pop Prizes

If you win in Georgia Cash Pop, you have 180 days from the drawing date to claim your prize. Find out how to claim different amounts, along with any additional information you need to know when you come forward.

Prizes of $600 or less

You can claim prizes of this value from Georgia Lottery retailers, just by taking in your winning ticket. You may find that a retailer does not have sufficient cash on site to pay you out straight away, but they will be able to arrange a money order, or a combination of cash and money order, if required.

Alternatively, you can visit a Georgia Lottery office or claim by mail. If claiming a prize of this value by mail, you just need to fill out the back of your ticket and send it to the following address:

If you win a prize of under $600 online, it will be paid automatically into your account.

Prizes over $600

Claiming prizes of more than $600 is still straightforward, but you don’t have the option to visit a retailer. One option is to mail in your ticket (address is shown above). In addition to filling out the back of your ticket, you will need to complete a claim form and submit copies of a valid photo ID and social security card.

You can also claim Cash Pop prizes above $600 from the Georgia Lottery Headquarters, district offices or lottery kiosks located at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. If you win a prize worth more than $600 online, you will be given instructions to proceed in any of these ways, rather than the money going directly into your account.

Federal and state income tax withholdings are deducted in Georgia, but only from prizes exceeding $5,000, which is more than you can win on a single play in Cash Pop.
