The Maryland Lottery states that the claiming period for draw games such as Cash Pop is 182 days. If you miss the deadline, your ticket will not be valid anymore and you will not be able to claim the prize.
Maryland is one of the few states which allows its winners to remain anonymous.
Prizes of $600 and Below
You may claim your prize at any authorized Maryland Lottery retailer.
Alternatively, you can claim your winnings by mail. You will need to send over your signed ticket along with the completed claim form.

Prizes Worth Over $600
If you won any prize over $600, you will need to bring a photo ID, proof of your Social Security or Tax ID numbers, as well your signed winning ticket.
You will be able to claim your prize at any Expanded Cashing Authority (XCAP) center across the state.
In case you are choosing to claim your prize by mail, remember to include a form of photo ID and your SSN/ Tax ID along your signed ticket.
Maryland Lottery accepts the following forms of photo ID:
- Valid driver's license
- Valid military ID
- Valid government issued ID
- Valid passport
For proof of SSN/Tax ID, you can use:
- Original signed Social Security Card
- Health insurance card which contains your name and social security number
- W-2 form or a pay stub which was issued by the winner's employer
- 1099 form which was issued by a bank or another financial institution
