How to Play in Michigan

Cash Pop is really easy to play. You even have more freedom to make choices than you do for most other games. Find out all the steps below.

Step 1

Select a number between 1 and 15. You can choose your own or go for an ‘Easy Pick’ if you want a random selection.

Step 2

You can pick as many numbers as you want to increase your chances of winning. Select ‘Play All’ to enter all 15 numbers and guarantee yourself a win.

Step 3

Decide how much to wager for each number. You can choose between $1, $2, $5 or $10. The more you pay, the more it is possible to win.

Step 4

Enter your number(s) into multiple draws. Mark on your playslip or tell the retailer whether you want to play 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10 or 15 consecutive drawings.

The total cost depends on how many numbers you play, your wager amount, and the number of consecutive draws. There are lots of chances to win in MI Cash Pop, with drawings every 14 minutes. The first drawing of the day is at 5:16 AM ET, and the last one is at 2:44 AM. Ticket sales are open from 5:00 AM until 2:59 AM.

The game is available at all of the Michigan Lottery’s 10,500 retail locations, either by filling in a playslip or using a self-serve machine.

Cash Pop Prizes and Odds of Winning

Cash Pop works differently to other games as there is not one fixed prize for everyone. The prize amount you are playing for is generated on your ticket when you make you purchase. This figure is assigned at random, although it is also based on your wager amount. The highest payout, for example, is only possible if you wager the maximum $10.

To win the prize value shown on your ticket, you must match the number that is drawn. Go to the Prizes and Odds page to see exactly how much you can win for each wager amount.
