How to Play Illinois Cash Pop

This page contains everything you need to know to enjoy a game of Cash Pop in Illinois.

In this game, only one winning number (also known as the winning 'Pop') from 1 to 15 is selected in each draw. Draws take place hourly from 8:30 AM to 1:30 AM, giving players 18 chances to win every day.

Step 1

Choose one or more numbers from 1 to 15. You could even choose all 15 numbers to guarantee a prize, but bear in mind that the cost of your ticket will be multiplied by the number of Pops you pick. If one of these numbers matches the winning number for your draw, you'll be eligible for a prize. If you'd prefer a randomly-selected Pop, there's also a 1-Pop Quick Pick option.

Step 2

Next, decide how much you'd like to wager per Pop on your ticket. In Illinois Cash Pop, the options are $1, $2, $5, and $10. No matter how much you wager, the prize tiers are always the same, ranging from 5x to 250x your wager amount. This gives IL Cash Pop a top prize of $2,500!

Step 3

The final step is to choose how many draws to enter your chosen Pops into. Illinois lets players enter 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, or 18 consecutive draws at a time, with 18 being a full 24 hours' worth of draws.

Ticket Cost?

Now that you've completed all the steps, you can use the following formula to work out how much your ticket is going to cost:
'Number of Pops chosen' x 'Wager Amount' x 'Number of Draws' = Total Cost

So, how are the prize values determined? On your Cash Pop ticket, each Pop you chose is paired with one of nine possible prize values printed on it at random at the point of sale. If your Pop matches the winning Pop, you've won the prize associated with it on your ticket!
